Detailed Itinerary

Day 1Arrival & Welcome — Kedarnath Yatra

Arrive at the designated venue and assemble at the boarding point delhi//noida. Our representative will guide you to the vehicle, and once all participants have arrived, we will begin our journey to Guptkashi.

Day 2arrival gupkashi

Arrival & Refresh: Arrive in Rishikesh and take a moment to breathe in the mountain air. We’ll start the day with a refreshing cup of local tea before hitting the road. The Holy Sangam: Our first major stop is Devprayag. Witness the breathtaking sight of the Bhagirathi and Alaknanda rivers meeting to officially become the Ganga. We will also visit the ancient Shri Raghunath Temple here. Mid-Day: Scenic Cruising & Darshan Breakfast in Srinagar: A quick stop in the valley of Srinagar for a hearty breakfast. Dhari Devi Darshan: Visit the Dhari Devi Temple, perched right over the Alaknanda river. She is considered the guardian deity of Uttarakhand and the protector of the Chardham. Final Prep at Augustmuni: A second stop for breakfast/snacks. This is the perfect time to do a final inventory check (ensure you have your raincoats, power banks, and trekking gear ready for the days ahead). Afternoon: Into the High Hills River Views: Continue the drive as the landscape changes. You’ll pass through Rudraprayag (the confluence of Mandakini and Alaknanda) and the winding roads of Ukhimath. Keep your cameras ready for the river valley views. Evening: Arrival in Guptkashi Check-in: Reach Guptkashi by the evening. The air is cooler here, and the vibes are serene. Rest & Rejuvenate: Check into your hotel, enjoy a warm Himalayan dinner, and get a good night's sleep to prepare for the spiritual journey tomorrow.

Day 3Guptkashi to kedarnath

Drive to Sonprayag: After an early breakfast, we drive to Sonprayag. Due to local regulations, private vehicles are parked here. Shared Cabs to Gaurikund: From Sonprayag, we take local shared shuttles to reach Gaurikund, the official starting point of the trek. This is where the hot water springs and the Gauri Devi Temple are located. The Journey Upwards: Choose Your Path The 22 km journey from Gaurikund to the temple is as much a test of spirit as it is a physical trek. You can choose your mode of transport based on your comfort: The Classic Trek: A scenic 18 km climb alongside the Mandakini River. Pony/Mule Ride: A popular choice for those wanting to save energy for the Darshan. Palki (Palanquin): Carried by four people, ideal for elderly travelers or those with physical constraints. Arrival: At the Feet of the Lord Reaching the Top: As you round the final bend, the majestic Kedarnath Temple appears against the backdrop of the Kedar Dome and snowy peaks. Check-in & Refresh: Check into your pre-booked accommodation and freshen up. The mountain air is thin and cold, so take a moment to acclimatize. Evening Darshan: Experience the divine energy of the temple. Whether you attend the evening Aarti or sit in quiet meditation, the vibe here is incomparable. Fast Facts: The Legacy of Kedarnath Ancient Roots: One of the 12 Jyotirlingas in India, it is believed the original structure was built by the Pandavas as an act of penance. Shankaracharya’s Revival: The present temple was constructed by Adi Shankaracharya in the 8th century (some accounts say 18th-century restoration). Architecture: It is built of massive grey stone slabs, interlocked with iron clamps—a feat of engineering that has survived centuries of snow and floods. Important Note on Kedarnath Accommodation Please be advised that due to the high altitude and limited infrastructure at the Kedarnath base, standard room sharing categories (Double/Triple/Quad Sharing) are not applicable. Type of Stay: Accommodation will be provided based on the real-time availability of Rooms or Dormitories. Safety & Privacy: We ensure a comfortable stay by maintaining gender-based sharing. Male participants will share with male members, and female participants will share with female members only. Operational Constraints: Given the remote nature of the location, we request our guests to embrace the spirit of pilgrimage and cooperation.

Day 4Day 4 return guptkashi

Early Morning Darshan: Witness the "Abhishek" or the early morning rituals at the Kedarnath Temple. The sight of the temple in the first light of dawn, with the snow-capped peaks glowing in the background, is a memory for a lifetime. Visit Bhairav Mandir: A short but steep climb from the main temple leads you to the Bhairav Nath Temple. Dedicated to the guardian deity of the Kedarnath valley, it offers an incredible panoramic view of the entire Kedar valley and the temple complex below. The Return Journey: Heading Downhill Starting the Descent: After seeking blessings, begin your 22 km journey back to Gaurikund. While downhill is physically less demanding on the lungs, it can be tough on the knees, so take it steady. Transport Options: You can choose to trek down, or once again opt for a Pony or Palki. Note: If you are trekking, ensure your laces are tied tight to avoid toe injuries during the descent. Afternoon: Transit to the Base Gaurikund to Sonprayag: Once you reach Gaurikund, take the local shared shuttle back to Sonprayag. Your private vehicle/driver will be waiting for you at the parking lot. Drive to Guptkashi: A relaxing 30 km drive brings you back to the warmer altitudes of Guptkashi. Evening: Comfort & Recovery Check-in: Settle back into your Homestay or Hotel. After the high-altitude stay and the long trek, a warm bed and a hot shower will feel like luxury. Dinner & Rest: Enjoy a celebratory dinner with your group, sharing stories of your trek, and get some much-needed rest.

Day 5Day 5 departure noida//delhi

Morning & Afternoon: The Scenic Farewell The Last Descent: After breakfast in Guptkashi, we begin our long but beautiful drive back towards the plains. Himalayan Panoramas: As we descend, keep your cameras ready. You’ll get one last chance to witness the vast valleys of the Mandakini and Alaknanda rivers. The winding roads offer a rotating gallery of mountain peaks as they slowly fade into the horizon. Evening: The Transition Dinner Stopover: As we leave the high hills and approach the foothills (near Rishikesh or Haridwar), we will stop at a popular highway dhaba or restaurant for a hearty dinner. Rest & Reflect: This is the time to stretch your legs, scroll through the hundreds of photos on your phone, and share your favorite moments from the trek with your fellow travelers. The Overnight Run: Into the Plains The Night Drive: To ensure we beat the heavy daytime traffic of the NCR, we will travel through the night. Our experienced drivers will handle the shifts while you relax and catch some sleep in the comfort of the vehicle.
